The new Xbox singing controller featuring the song "Bad Decisions" by Snoop Dogg, Benny Blanco, and BTS

If you've ever sat there dreaming of an Xbox singing controller that could hum you a ditty while you're gaming, then you need dream no more. Xbox has unveiled a new controller that sings the song "Bad Decisions" by Snoop Dogg, Benny Blanco, and BTS, and you could win one.

So there's an Xbox singing controller now?

That's right. Given that getting an Xbox controller is pretty difficult right now owing to supply issues, you might want to consider entering the new Xbox sweepstakes for a chance to win the company's new, completely ridiculous controller. Billed as "the first ever singing Xbox controller" (an accolade I'm pretty sure is correct, but might not be quite the banner proclamation it seems), the all-red controller bears text reading "Bad Decisions" along with listing the artists behind the song. It's got white accents and a speaker on the back that plays said song.

Yep. There's now an Xbox singing controller.

I've checked, and it's not April 1st, so it looks like this is entirely legit. To enter the sweepstakes, all you need to do is follow the Xbox Twitter account and retweet the announcement tweet with the hashtag #BadDecisionsSongXboxSweepstakes (it's pretty lengthy, so make sure you spell it right). You'll need to be 18 or over to enter, and a winner will be drawn at random. If you're the "lucky" winner of the controller, you'll be notified via Twitter DM and given instructions on how to claim your prize. Make sure to read the rules thoroughly so you don't make a mistake while you're entering. It might also be a good idea to go check out the song to make sure you like it, because the last thing you want is a song you hate playing from your controller.

What else is Xbox up to in the gaming world?

Of course, the Xbox singing controller isn't the limit of what Xbox is doing in the gaming world right now. Recently, the company announced that usage of its Xbox Cloud Gaming service had jumped 1800% in the last year, news that will come as music to the ears of Logitech and Tencent since they've just recently announced a cloud gaming handheld that will support Xbox Cloud Gaming. A new wave of games is also on its way to the Xbox Game Pass service this month, including historical CRPG Expeditions: Rome and classic Zachtronics puzzler Shenzhen I/O

Expeditions: Rome, one of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month
Xbox Game Pass is getting a whole bunch of new games this month, including Expeditions: Rome.

You can head over to Twitter right now to take part in the Xbox singing controller sweepstakes if you want to. If this idea takes off, who knows; maybe we'll see a whole range of Xbox singing controllers. I wonder how long it's going to take before you start hearing "Bad Decisions" over headset mics when you're gaming online on Xbox. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for more Xbox news.
