With the Xbox Series X (and S) finally being officially announced, the launch library for the console has come out of woodwork, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Dirt 5, Gears Tactics, Tetris Effect: Connected, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
With the launch of the Xbox Series consoles on November 10, it should come as no surprise that Assassin's Creed Valhalla (along with the rest of the aforementioned games) are releasing on launch day as well:
“We are excited to announce that players will be able to discover Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than expected! We cannot wait to see the world we’ve been creating over the past three years coming to life on all platforms, including on the next generation of consoles with the Xbox Series X | S on 10th November.” said Julien Laferrière, Producer on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
On the Xbox Series X, Assassin's Creed Valhalla will run at 4k 60 FPS, and Watch Dogs: Legion will "fully benefit from the Hardware Accelerated Raytracing", which sounds great but we'll have to see how it looks in action before we really understand what it's all about, eh?
For other launch titles, if players buy Dirt 5 for the Xbox One on November 6, they'll be able to upgrade for free to the Xbox Series S/X, which will include "4K and 120fps next-gen features." Very cool.
