A week away from September and we have already been given an update on what Games with Gold can be expected for the month of September. Each month subscribers to Xbox Gold will have access to two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 titles for no additional charge. Up until the 15th two titles will be available while you can get the other two titles starting on the 16th until the end of the month. All Xbox 360 games that are included in the Games With Gold program are also part of Backwards Compatibility so you'll be able to download and play them on your Xbox One too.
Xbox One
Starting on the first of September for the Xbox One players will be able to hop into the driver's seat of Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition. This edition of the game includes both the base game as well as the Top Gear Car Pack giving players access to ten cars that have been featured on Top Gear throughout the years. In this realistic racing simulator, you can take part in both career mode and online multiplayer with up to 16 cars on the track. Even while playing offline you still have a chance to meet up with friends and rivals using the Forza Drivatar allowing you to race their ghosts.On the 16th of September, the next Xbox One Games with Gold title Oxenfree will become available. In this point and click adventure you play as Alex, a rebellious teen, as she goes with her younger brother and friends for an overnight party on an old and derelict military island. Along this adventure, you begin to discover that something sinister and supernatural is afoot on the island forcing you to do what you can to avoid an untimely doom.
Xbox 360
If racing on the road isn't exactly your thing and you'd rather hit the waves than on the Xbox 360 between the 1st and 15th of September Gold subscribers will be able to download Hydro Thunder Hurricane. In this title, you get to race across the Bermuda Triangle and Area 51 as you command a high-powered speedboat. With 11 environments, 20 vehicles to unlock, and 4 different game modes there is a good level of depth in this title.Last but most certainly not least starting on the 16th of September Battlefield 3 will be unlocked for Xbox 360. Put your boots on the ground as you take on opposing forces on a large scale. Work your way through the single player mode of the game or sit back with friends and coordinate your assault across multiplayer with a variety of maps, unlockable weapons, and a large number of stages.
