Update: Looks like billbil-kun is right again. Xbox has just released it's usual announcement for next month's Xbox Live Games With Gold March games, and it's exactly as it was leaked.
The original article is below:
Do you like leaks? Of course you do, who doesn't? Leaks are fun, especially when you get a known leaker like billbil-kun over at dealabs who is consistently accurate (first spotted by VGC). Last month's games weren't incredible, but were serviceable, with Hydrophobia, Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse, Band of Bugs, and Aerial_Knight's Never Yield given out to those who are subscribed to Microsoft's service. This month's Xbox Live Games With Gold March games don't look as good as those, which goes to show that perhaps both Microsoft and PlayStation are beginning to scrape the bottom of the barrel for their monthly offerings.
What are the leaked Xbox Live Games With Gold March games?
Again, don't get your hopes up for anything good, because I'm not even subscribed to Microsoft's Xbox Live service and I'm disappointed. Here they are:
- The Flame in the Flood (March 1-31)
- Street Power Soccer (March 16-April 15)
- Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (March 1-15)
- SpongeBob's Truth or Square (March 16-March 31)
Not great, eh? Well, let's dig into them anyways. For those interested in the highlight of the month, which is undoubtedly The Flame in the Flood, it's an action adventure indie title where players undertake a roguelike journey through post-societal America. Players will have to forage, craft, and evade predators. It has a 75% 'Mostly Positive' rating on Steam, so if you're into that kind of thing you'll probably enjoy it.
The next of the leaked Xbox Live Games With Gold March games is Street Power Soccer, which is exactly as it sounds. Players will play soccer in the streets, and there are six game modes that range from the open-ended Freestyle and Trickshot to the 3v3 matches in Street Power mode. It's got a 'Mostly Positive' score of 70% on Steam, so if you want a quirkier version of soccer it should be... up your alley.
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is an older title in the style of Titan Quest and Diablo 2. With lots of customization and places to go in a big open world, if you're hankering for a new ARPG to play then Sacred 2: Fallen Angel just might be it despite its age. Its Gold edition that has both Fallen Angel and its expansion combined has a 76% 'Mostly Positive' rating, so it should be a good time water for ARPG fans.
SpongeBob's Truth or Square isn't great. It has one review on Metacritic (4/10) and 20 user reviews (6.8/10), both of which don't tell the most compelling story. Players are looking for missing Krabby Patty formula as Spongebob in this platforming action-adventure title. Players can play the game in coop with a friend, with the unfortunate friend playing as Plankton. Perhaps as part of the offering though you can fin
Well, that's the leaked Xbox Live Games With Gold March games. Pretty bleh, eh? Well, stay tuned to TechRaptor for next month's Xbox Live Games With Gold titles and let's all collectively hope because we get something better, because yeesh if this leak is true, then this is pretty slim pickings, as it seems Microsoft is investing more in Game Pass than Games with Gold.
