Can it really be almost April already? Indeed it is, and that means two new Xbox Games with Gold titles are headed your way this month. Your first title is a hectic space-house sim, and your second is a puzzle-adventure game that comes by order of a certain Birmingham, UK gang.
Unlike last month, you're only getting two games in April, although they're pretty decent as Games with Gold titles go. First up, it's Out of Space: Couch Edition, which tasks you with cleaning and maintaining spaceship houses in the shadow of an alien infestation that threatens to undo all your hard work. This one's great if you love a spot of co-op, and it's available from April 1st until April 30th. Don't worry; it's not an April Fools' joke.
Your second Xbox Games with Gold title this month is Peaky Blinders: Mastermind. This strategy game sees you take control of the Shelby family as they fight to uncover and foil a plot to put them and their gang, the Peaky Blinders, out of business. The story of the Peaky Blinders stitching razorblades into their hats might be apocryphal, but this game isn't, and it's available on Games with Gold from April 16th until May 15th.
There's still time to download March's Xbox Games with Gold lineup. Truberbrook is available until tomorrow, as is Sudden Strike 4: Complete Collection. You've got a little bit longer for spooky survival horror Lamentum, which is sticking around until April 15th, scaring the kids (and the adults, let's be honest). Make sure to give them a download if you haven't yet.
As a reminder, Xbox Games with Gold is available to anyone who's signed up to Xbox Live Gold. That includes Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, so if you're a subscriber, you can get these games as part of your subscription. They may not be bobby dazzlers on their own (as we say in Birmingham), but they're not half bad as part of that package deal.
