For those of you subscribed to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service, there should be something for everyone to get excited about this month. The March Xbox Game Pass titles include Microsoft Flight Simulator, Far: Changing TidesLightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIIIKentucky Route ZeroLawn Mowing SimulatorMarvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Young Souls. There's also an update for the Xbox App on PC, game updates, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks, and a bunch of games that are leaving on March 15th. Let's get started, shall we?

What's new for March Xbox Game Pass?

  • Far: Changing Tides (Cloud, Console, and PC) is available day one today on Game Pass. As Toe, players will embark on a journey at the helm of a unique ship that will upgrade and evolve as you solve puzzles, navigate the changing weather, and dive to unknown depths while searching for a new home.

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator (Cloud) is available today on Xbox Cloud Gaming. That means if you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription as well as either an Xbox One, phone, tablet, or PC, you'll be able to take to the skies and see how good of a pilot you are.

  • Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (Console and PC) is available today. Lightning is facing the ultimate challenge: the world is ending in just 13 days. Players will experience a new game world, battle system, and extended customization features.

  • Kentucky Route Zero (Cloud, Console, and PC) is available on March 10th and is about a secret highway running through the cave beneath Kentucky. It's a strange adventure title, but it's also one of the best in the genre.

  • Lawn Mowing Simulator (Xbox One) is available on March 10 for Xbox One consoles and is available now for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Do you like mowing lawns and want to do it digitally? If you do, you're one strange cat, but hey, you'll at least be able to mow through the Great British countryside in this simulator.

  • Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (Cloud, Console, and PC) is available on March 10. Become Star-Lord as you move from one crazy situation to another as you try and save the universe.

  • Young Souls (Cloud, Console, and PC) is available day one on March 10. Young Souls is a 2D beat 'em up mixed with a story-rich action RPG. Players take the shoes of Jenn and Tristan, orphans who were taken in by a scientist, who's now disappeared. Move between worlds in your search to find their foster father.

While that's all that's currently announced for March Xbox Game Pass, there's also an Xbox App on PC update that gives players the option to choose which folder your games get installed to, access files to select games you've installed (as well as repair and move them), and the ability to mod more games. Pretty cool update overall, even if these things should've been available a long time ago.

The No Man’s Sky Sentinel Update is also available now, and the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks include the EA Sports UFC 4 (Console): Fighter and Customization Bundle that's available March 3. It includes Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, the Kumite Customization Pack, and the Backyard Customization Pack. Another perk is the Halo Infinite (Console, PC, and Cloud) Pass Tense Mongoose Bundle that's available on March 9. Players will be able to customize their Mongoose and use four 2XP Boosts and four Challenge swaps. Last but not least is the Century: Age of Ashes (Console and PC) Hjørrani Savannah Bundle that's coming March 14. You'll get the Hjørrani Savannah dragon, a 14 day XP Booster, and extra gems for customizations.

What's leaving for March Xbox Game Pass on March 15

  • Nier: Automata (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Phogs! (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Torchlight III (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Surge 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

If you're in the process of beating these games, you have two weeks. Good luck.
