Microsoft has announced the first part of the Xbox Game Pass March 2023 lineup, and there are a couple of pretty great games in there for subscribers. You can look forward to survival horror, turn-based strategy, and whimsical JRPG fun in this month's haul, plus a much-loved and long-awaited survival gem.
First up, Guilty Gear Strive has arrived on PC, console, and cloud today. Although Microsoft describes this as a "surprise", the game was revealed to be coming to Game Pass last week via the Xbox store's front page. Still, it's something nice to get stuck into if you're a fan of one-on-one fighters and you haven't tried this one out yet.
Moving further into the month, Dead Space 2 and 3 arrive on Game Pass on March 9th. Both are available via cloud only via EA Play. If you're hankering for some more Dead Space after checking out January's remake, then here's where you should go, although Dead Space 3 was divisive to say the least on launch.

On March 14th, Viking survival sandbox Valheim arrives on Game Pass on console, having already come to PC Game Pass a few months back. On March 16th, Sid Meier's Civilization VI comes to the service, and will be available via cloud, console, and PC. Finally, on March 21st, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - The Prince's Edition makes its way to Game Pass on console and PC. This version includes all of the DLC, too.
