During the Xbox E3 2019 conference this Sunday, we saw a new trailer for InXile Entertainment's Wasteland 3. It's a very humorous poster, with a post-apocalyptic hobo welcoming the player to the glacial wastes of Colorado. He makes some mention of the Rockies. A stampede of massive bulls destroys a camp. It shows a post-apocalyptic kitchen being tended by a clown-like figure. We also see some postcards of Colorado Springs. A gigantic robot spider crosses through a hill of snow, with machine guns ready to destroy.

We see some brief glimpses of the tactical turn-based combat of Wasteland 3, but nothing specific beyond the grid and a couple of enemies. The hobo character keeps narrating throughout the trailer, claiming there's so much to see in this post-apocalyptic world. The trailer also shows some snapshots of some possible enemy characters or NPCs you will encounter as you explore the world of Colorado. We see glimpses of some levels we will get to explore, such as a collapsed airport. Finally, we get a quick reel of some of the game's weapons we'll get to play with, which look a bit more colorful than the ones in Wasteland 2.

There isn't any information about the gameplay or any hint for a release date so far, so we will probably have to wait until 2020 for it. Wasteland 3 was first announced in 2016 along with its Fig crowdfunding campaign. It looks like it will be inXile Entertainment's biggest game so far, based on the time it has been in development. We might hear more details about it in the next few days, and we will report them if anything new comes up.
