A bouncy little fox popped onto the screen before a large purple flower took a chomp at him in the reveal of Super Lucky's Tale. We then moved into a world of 2-D and 3-D platforming as our hero collected coins throughout the colorful, stylized environments. The presentation showed a gathering of characters around a book before a villainous blob of a character exploded out of it and laughed at them from on high.
Super Lucky's Tale will be an Xbox One and Windows 10 Exclusive platformer that's appropriate for all ages. Players will follow Lucky and his sister as they try to rescue the Book of Ages, something featured prominently in the trailer.
Some more details about the game are available via the official Xbox website. You'll be able to play carnival mini-games and obstacle courses as side attractions to the core platforming gameplay. Along the way, the mysterious villain Jinx and their children will be doing their best to stop our upbeat hero. Every now and again, a special "Jinx Level" will pop up, dragging Lucky into a life-or-death challenge put forth by the devious machinations of the game's villain.
