At their E3 press conference this afternoon, Microsoft announced a bunch of free updates that will be hitting Minecraft later this year!
This summer will finally see the launch of the community market place. Here, community creators will be able to share and sell their work to the entire Minecraft community. On top of that, Mojang will also be adding massive community run servers directly into the game itself.
They didn't stop their though, Lydia Winters from Mojang also announced that they will also be unifying all versions of Minecraft. Whether your are playing on the PC, Xbox, Switch, VR, or even Mobile, you will be able to join your friends in cross platform co-op and explore their worlds.

Just in time for the launch of the Xbox One X, Microsoft will also be launching a free Super Duper Graphics Pack that enhances the game for the new system adding 4k and HDR support. Minecraft DLC will also be added to the Mixpot for Mixer.
