From the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, the next big announcement is that the Persona franchise will be coming to the Xbox platform. This was something that was surprisingly leaked this morning and has been a long request for fans of Persona for a long time.

Phil Spencer took to the stage to announce that Xbox has been hearing everyone's feedback about more Japanese developers and with that, the Atlus logo flashed across the screen.

In a series of short teaser trailers, Xbox was able to announce that Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royale will all be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the future. Each game was treated to its own reel showing off important moments from the story of the game, while also highlighting some of the biggest tracks from each Persona title's fantastic soundtrack.

On top of coming to the previously mentioned platforms, all three games will also be coming to Xbox Game Streaming when they launch allowing players who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play this game from any Game Streaming enabled devices when the game's launch.

While the release dates for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden were not announced at this time the release date for Persona 5 Royale was announced to be 10/21/2022.

Persona 5 Xbox Gamepass

While it was a few years ago that Persona 4 Golden hit Steam, and that Persona 5 had its updated edition in Persona 5 Royale it has been many years since any kind of release for Persona 3 has taken place.

There's been no news at the moment of if there will be any updates to Persona 3 Portable to re-add any of the features that this port originally decided to remove. There are likely many Persona fans out there hoping that this re-release will culminate in a 'definitive' edition of the game that shifted the scope of Persona for it to begin becoming such a popular series in the West.
