Xbox and Bethesda have announced a Developer Direct presentation for late January, where we'll get to see what the two studios are up to. The showcase will air on January 25th at 12pm Pacific (that's 3pm Eastern) and will feature looks at The Elder Scrolls OnlineForza, and more.

Per an official announcement, the upcoming Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct will focus on four pillars. First is The Elder Scrolls Online, where we'll get a look at a major new chapter for the game. We'll get to see the newest Forza Motorsport game from Turn 10, too, as well as a new look at PvP gameplay in Minecraft Legends. Finally, we'll get a several-minute-long gameplay showcase for Arkane's upcoming shooter Redfall.

Notable by its absence is Starfield, but we're getting a standalone show for that one sometime in the future, apparently. This is, according to Xbox and Bethesda, in order to "dedicate the proper amount of time" for a deep dive into the game. It's not clear when that'll be coming yet, but hey, it's nice to see Redfall getting some love.

Arkane's upcoming shooter Redfall is getting an extended gameplay showcase during the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct.

There's a chance we might get a release date for Redfall in this presentation. We know the game is coming this year, since it was delayed alongside Starfield back in May last year. We could also discover when Forza Motorsport, which Turn 10 is working on right now, is coming; we know it's got a spring 2023 release window, but we don't know when the release date will fall during that window.

In terms of The Elder Scrolls Online, you're getting a look at the major Chapter update coming this year, which will add extra regions of Tamriel to the game as well as a "major new feature". Following the Developer Direct, a Chapter Reveal Event will air for ESO, showcasing more info about the game. Be on the lookout for that if you're a fan of Bethesda's MMO.

The Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct showcase airs at 12pm Pacific on Wednesday, January 25th. You can check it out on the official Xbox Twitch or YouTube channels, or the Bethesda channels if you prefer. Of course, we'll bring you all the major reveals and news from the event here at TechRaptor as well.
