World of Warships Meets Transformers in Latest Update

Published: September 18, 2020 10:08 AM /

Wargaming has announced a new DLC for World of Warships. It's World of Warships X Transformers: Commanders.

The Steam page shows off the DLC in all it's $37.99 glory. The bundle contains Commander Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Rumble. They will have their own unique voiceovers and 11 skill points. There's also specializations for Optimus Prime (Montana), Bumblebee (Gearing), Megatron (Großer Kurfürst), and Rumble (Khabarovsk).

Players can also have an unlimited number of identical Transformers Commanders in their game simultaneously, which is kind of cool. The DLC on Steam is not compatible with accounts created outside of Steam, which isn't as cool.

“We are very excited to introduce the iconic Transformers characters into both our games,” said Kirill Peskov, World of Warships: Legends Development Director. “The Autobots and Decepticons are known around the world, and we took great care to incorporate these characters into the game in an authentic way that will provide our players with fun, new challenges.”

Speaking of signing up, since this is Transformers, we are obligated to have something to sell or otherwise market by covering this, and we've partnered with Wargaming as a member of their affiliate program for World of Warships. You can sign up via our affiliate link and support TechRaptor and if you enter the anniversary code: 5YEARSOFVICTORIES you'll receive the following freebies:

  • Tier 5 Researchable ship American Cruiser Omaha,
  • 555 Doubloons,
  • 5,555,555 Million credits (there may be inflation issues in the World of Warships....),
  • 55 camouflages,
  • 15 Days of Premium Account status,
  • 5 of each signal flag.

It is valid until October 2nd, so don't wait too long to sign up if you want to pick them up and join in the Transformers boating action.

Disclosure: Wargaming works with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership, and TechRaptor earns a small commission for newly registered members.
