Today Blizzard Entertainment released a brand new trailer showcasing a feature coming to World of Warcraft, the Trading Post.

If you're wondering what this feature is all about, it's a kiosk that will appear in the capital cities of the Alliance and Horde, Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Specifically, T&W will be located just outside of the Mage District in Stormwind, while the Zen’shiri Trading Post will be next to Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar.

At these shops, you'll be able to trade in a new account-wide currency named "Trader’s Tender" to unlock a bunch of rewards including transmog, pets, and even mounts. Luckily, this currency isn't a new attempt to nickel and dime players, but it's instead a way to encourage logging in and being active.

You can get 500 Trader’s Tender every month if you have an active account in good standing and 500 more by completing activities in the Traveler's log. You'll also get an additional 500 for your purchase of the Dragonflight expansion

New items will be added to the Trading Posts on a monthly rotation, ensuring that players always have new stuff to aim for. Last, but not least, if you max out your Trader’s Tender's gauge, you can get an additional reward every month. The mount showcased in the trailer is likely the first of these.

The Trading Posts will be implemented on February 1. You can check the trailer out below.

World of Warcraft is currently available exclusively for PC. The aging MMORPG by Blizzard has recently received a new expansion titled Dragonflight, while those who prefer to play ut "old school" can opt to play World of Warcraft Classic, which just recently revived the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
