Hunts, pets, and more have arrived in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Patch 1.10. This latest content drop for Wolcen Studio's action RPG delivers a substantial amount of new content to players alongside a bunch of bug fixes.
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an action RPG that puts players in the midst of a fantastical war. The game has everything an ARPG fan could want and more — for example, you can customize the appearance of the sweet loot that you discover in your various adventures. Now, a brand-new update has arrived that is bringing some seriously cool new features to the game.
What's New in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Patch 1.10?
The first notable addition in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Patch 1.10 are "Hunts." These special missions will have you tracking down your supernatural prey in four new environments, three of which are replayable in the endgame. Hunts can reward players with Tributary Affixes, a more powerful version of regular Affidxes that always comes with a Malus. Hunts will also give players a new currency dedicated to this game system.
Pets are another big addition to the game. You'll be able to get dogs, wolves, and drakes to follow you while you're tracking down your Prey. Those of you who link your Twitch account to your Wolcen account can get a Time Devourer Wolf Pet as a Twitch Drop.
Other big new additions include 3 new bosses and 11 different elites for the Hunts. These creatures will be smarter, too — they'll react to the player's usage of area-of-effect skills, ultimately making for what should be more challenging combat.
There aren't the only changes, mind — Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an ARPG and that means there are tons of balance fixes and bug fixes. There are so many, in fact, that the developers have had to split the Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Patch 1.10 notes into Part 1 and Part 2; you can read the full patch notes for all of the many, many changes that have arrived in this patch. If you've been itching to play a new ARPG, you can buy Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem on Steam for just $29.99, a 25% discount as part of a weekend deal that ends on December 7, 2020.
