Wolcen bug fixes are going to be prioritized over new content in what the developers are called "Operation: Second Dawn".

If you're unfamiliar with Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem, this is a free-form hack 'n' slash game that doesn't restrict players to classes in the way that other games in the genre tend to do. However, it's currently suffering from its fair share of technical problems, with one Steam review stating the "entire game fell apart" in Wolcen's second chapter.

Although these issues are troublesome, the devs state in a Steam Community announcement that they've had their fair share of positive feedback. However, they also acknowledge the problems that have cropped up in the first month of release, and they're shifting their immediate focus to getting these bugs squashed.Wolcen bug fixes slice

What Wolcen Bug Fixes Are Coming?

To start, WOLCEN Studio is working with an external quality assurance team to help improve their testing process in the hopes of spotting any issues sooner rather than later. This should help prevent any further issues from cropping up in new releases. Patch 1.0.10 will be pushed back to next week to ensure that extensive testing takes place.

Improvements to the game's balance, story, and quality of life features are also on the way. For example, the devs will be adding a much-requested functionality: the ability to rebind the left-click button. Chapter 3 will be getting some attention in terms of story, too, in order to add some more visual diversity, new enemies, and new enemy variants.

Aside from these specifics, the devs have been hard at work at getting the servers working just right. The Wolcen bug fixes won't count for much if the servers are crapping out all the time, so this, too, will be part of their efforts to stabilize the game.

After Operation: Second Dawn is done, the devs will be moving into creating a league with Patch 1.10 and creating new chapters. For now, you can get into Wolcen by picking it up on Steam for $39.99 or your regional equivalent.
