The Witcher 3 has been delayed, yet again.
In an open letter to their fans, CD Project Red has announced that the release of The Witcher 3, the conclusion to their Witcher trilogy, has been pushed back another 12 weeks.
CD Project Red blames the delay on the sheer size of The Witcher 3, needing extra time to polish the product to ensure that the consumers will be satisfied with the game when it releases. CD Project Red was originally aiming for a late 2014 release but chose to push it back to a February 2015 release, for the same reason they are delaying the game again.
This is surely disappointing to many fans of the series, who have been eagerly anticipating the game. However, it is always better than a game is pushed back to ensure its quality, rather than the developer shipping an unfinished game
So, the Witcher 3 Delayed by 12 weeks. This means that the new release date is May 19th, 2015.
