Following the conclusion of the ARMS Nintendo Direct presentation, we had a nice little surprise tacked on at the end: a single player trailer for Splatoon 2.

The first part of the trailer delves a bit into the backstory of Splatoon 2. It shows the player character running around a city and following Marie through a grate into another world. Once there, you'll hear some exposition about the Squid Sisters in a Banjo-Kazooie-esque dialogue style. Finally, the Splatoon 2 trailer concludes with showing a bunch of quick shots of gameplay using the game's various weapons across multiple levels.
