A teaser trailer has been released for the recently announced Far Cry 5 showcasing some of the scenery of the game's fictional setting Hope County, Montana.

In addition to the trailer, the game's official website for the United Kingdom has a countdown until the worldwide reveal of Far Cry 5 on May 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM BST (9:00 AM Eastern Time). It also includes additional trailers compared to the United States version of the site, but at the moment they are currently region-locked. Throughout the trailer, we see idyllic Montanan scenery interspersed with the acts of brutality Far Cry veterans are all too familiar with. Keep your eyes on Ubisoft's US YouTube channel (or whatever your respective region may be) for additional teasers that may pop up in the coming days.
