A Download Management icon has been added to the Wii U Menu

Options have been added to Power Settings that allow users to hide certain software from the Quick Start Menu

Changes to the HOME Menu:

The design and layout of the HOME Menu has been updated

Changes to the Nintendo eShop:

Nintendo seems to be moving more towards customizability with their devices. Last month, Nintendo announced the "New" 3DS, which, among many improvements, allowed users to customize the look of the system with changeable faceplates and downloadable themes.  The update became available September 29th, 2014, at 12:00am.
