Sonori Corporation, formerly ROI, first announced a sequel to their cult classic White Day: A Labyrinth Named School back in May of 2016. They then released the first details for the game in November of 2016. Now it looks like the project is moving forward with a stated release time frame of next year and a teaser website.

The website provides a synopsis of the game in Korean. A rough translation reveals that the game will take place at Yeonduo High School around the time of the closing ceremonies. In the wake of a series of suicides some students enter the school at night and much like the first game are trapped inside and must survive until the morning. Sonori will be providing a synopsis in English sometime soon.

White Day made its debut in 2001 in South Korea and has since become a favorite survival horror game for fans of the genre around the world. It follows the terrifying plight of a high school student who sneaks into school after hours to secretly deliver a love letter before White Day, only to get locked in the school with its deranged supernatural inhabitants. This month a remastered version of the game is being re-released on PC and PS4. It will be available on PC via Steam August 22nd worldwide and on PS4 August 29th in North America.
