THQ Nordic and Winning Streak Games have announced a brand new football management sim. We Are Football comes from FIFA Manager and On The Ball designer Gerald Kohler, and it's due to land on PC this June.

What do we know about We Are Football?

We Are Football is masterminded by FIFA Manager lead Gerald Kohler and is described by THQ Nordic as "a new take on football management games". You'll play the role of both head coach and manager, organizing your players' training, outlining strategies, and negotiating the business side of things too. Note that I'm a Brit, so I'll be referring to the sport as "football" throughout. Feel free to find and replace your preferred term for soccer at your discretion. You can check out the announcement trailer for We Are Football right here:

In gameplay terms, Kohler and THQ Nordic are aiming to make We Are Football easy to learn and hard to master. It'll be a throwback to traditional management games, so you can expect to be managing every aspect of your club both on and off the pitch. We Are Football sounds insanely in-depth, even featuring psychological profiles for your team and the ability to manage younger players years before they actually join your club. There's also a massively feature-rich editor with which you can edit every single national team, generate players automatically, and edit badges and jerseys for your squad.

We Are Football sounds like the perfect game for anyone who loved old-school football management sims like Championship Manager or Football Manager, but who is craving the crazy levels of depth offered by games like Crusader Kings. The game will launch for PC via Steam on June 10th, 2021, and you can wishlist it right now if you like. Don't hold out hope for console ports, given how menu-based the interface is. We'll bring you more on this one as we get it.
