If you want some really interesting insight into the development of the brand-new fighting game Street Fighter 6, you've come to the right place.
YouTuber Paolo fromTOKYO released the latest installment of his "Day in the Life" series, which does pretty much what it says on the tin, following a Japanese worker through their day, performing a variety of jobs. This specific one follows Tsuyoshi Yabushita, a game planner working at Capcom in Osaka, specifically on Street Fighter 6. Interestingly, he's the one who came up with the new Battle Hub feature.
The video features a very interesting trip to Capcom's offices. On top of that, we don't just hear from Tsuyoshi-san, but also from many of his colleagues, including director Takayuki Nakayama. The visit to the sound studio showing how the sound effects are recorded is particularly interesting. Did you know that Blanka's electric sparks are created with tape?

Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, an arcade version will be released through Taito, though it may only be available in Japan for the time being.
You can already read our review of the game in which our Robert Scarpinito defined it as "one of the easiest on-ramps to the deep world of fighting games, appealing to casual players and veterans alike. With a diverse roster, meaty gameplay, and flashy animations," expecting the game to be an "FGC staple for years to come."
Recently, we learned that Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma will come as DLC, characters respectively in Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Winter (after the new year in 2024), and Spring 2024.
