Micha Whipple, Communications Director at inXile entertainment, has announced that the first DLC for Wasteland 3, Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown, will be releasing on June 3. The DLC will include "new story-driven content" that adds new locations, gear, quests, and "new twists" to Wasteland 3's tactical combat. Steeltown resides in the manufacturing hub of Colorado, and there the Patriarch--the region's self-proclaimed ruler--is reliant on Steeltown to maintain his power.
Steeltown keeps his weapons and vehicles going, but lately shipments have been arriving late with the wrong items or not coming at all. There's also the Plains Gangs that are causing trouble, so the Patriarch has called the player and the other Rangers in to solve his problem.
Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown will be available for $13.99 on Xbox One (which can be played on Xbox Series X|S via Backward Compatibility) and on PC for Windows 10 and Steam on June 3. Xbox Game Pass members will get 10% off on the DLC, so if you're into that it'll then cost you $12.59.
If you're into Wasteland a lot more than the average bear, the Wasteland collection has been launched on the Xbox Gear Shop, and this includes tee-shirts, tank tops, a Desert Rangers flask, and more. If that strikes your fancy, be sure to go here.
