Deep Silver has announced that their partnership with inXile Entertainment will see the latest entry in the classic, post-apocalyptic RPG franchise, Wasteland, to both consoles and PC in the spring of 2020. Wasteland 3 will still feature the same brand of hardcore wasteland challenge but will also throw some brand-new features into the mix, including online co-op and a customizable vehicle that the player can use to get around the wasteland in style.

The original Wasteland title was released back in 1988 and was a major source of inspiration for the original Fallout games, as well as post-apocalyptic video games as a whole. Wasteland 2 was released only a few years ago in the Fall of 2014, nearly 30 years after the original game, and revived the tough-as-nails strategy RPG to its seat as the king of the apocalypse. The third entry seems like it will be shaking up things even more, with some of the new features announced being features fans have been asking about for quite a while. The vehicle, in particular, will probably turn a lot of player's heads, and the online co-op and more dynamic conversation systems aren't to be sniffed at either.

Wasteland 3 had a new trailer shown off at the Microsoft E3 conference, which you can check out below, which seems to show off a very light-hearted and silly tone, as well as the new location of Colorado Springs. For more information about the game, you can check out the official website or even Deep Silver's YouTube page for any future trailers that might be coming our way or stay tuned to TechRaptor.
