One of the first major crowdfunded RPGs, Wasteland 2, is bringing its post-apocalyptic RPG moves to Nintendo Switch, developer InXile has announced. Coming with a rather groovy trailer, it shows off a bit of what Wasteland 2 is:

Wasteland 2 is the sequel to spiritual predecessor of Fallout, Wasteland 1, and features team-based RPG gameplay that focuses on having multiple solutions to basically every situation. Whether it's talking your way past a door, picking a lock, herding animals as a distraction or going in guns blazing, you can always find a different path to make use of the wide range of skills that you have at your dispoal. Be warned, however, that how you approach things and what you choose has consequences both in the short and long term. Right from the beginning, Wasteland 2 is a game that presents choices - some obvious, some less so.
Like other versions currently on the market, the Switch release will be Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, an enhanced release of the title. This added two new ways to differentiate your characters with perks and quirks, expanded voice-overs, a graphical overhaul, and a new precision strikes system that let players call shots on particular parts of enemy bodies to disable them.
For those on other platforms, or wondering about the status of the Wasteland franchise overall, Wasteland 3 is still in the works and on its path to being released sometime in 2019. More recently, Wasteland 2 announced the 30th-anniversary bundle which includes Wasteland 2, Wasteland 1 - The Original Classic, and the upcoming 2019 release of Wasteland – 30th Anniversary Edition Remaster which will remaster the 1988 released game.
