Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun

The release of Warhammer 40k: Boltgun is just around the corner, and Focus Home Entertainment released another trailer of this peculiar boomer shooter.

The trailer focuses on the tools of the trade, the weapons and guns that you'll be able to use to burn the heretic, kill the mutant, and purge the unclean in the grim darkness of the far future.

We get to see the chainsword, the titular boltgun, the shotgun, the vengeance launcher, the plasma gun, the melta gun, and the heavy bolter. There's enough to satisfy pretty much every Warhammer 40k fan, in pixelated low-fidelity glory.

You can check it out below.

Warhammer 40k: Boltgun launches for PC, PS5, PS4 Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on May 23. If you want to see more, you can check out the original reveal, another trailer, and an extended gameplay video.

The game prompts the player to step into the magnetized adamantium boots of an Ultramarine as he hunts heretics and chaos space marines across the grimdark galaxy of the 41st millennium. It mixes this classic proposition with the retro visuals and gameplay formula of boomer shooters, and it certainly appears like it has plenty of promise to satisfy both the fans of the genre and those of Games Workshop's storied IP, which will soon receive a 10th edition
