Legendary Tales

For those of you who are looking for a compelling VR experience, Legendary Tales might be the co-op dungeon crawler you're looking for. The update is coming later this year, and will massively expand the world to the tune of 70 times larger than the town that players are currently used to.

What else is coming in the Legendary Tales update?

Dungeons will also be changing in the new update, with randomized dungeons and "new dungeon themes" coming. There are also missions, adventures, and expeditions on the way, which can be activated by talking to NPCs. Players will even be able to select their own rewards, which will involve having to collect or retrieve items, defeating enemies, interacting with specific objects, or crafting items.

That last bit might have made your ears perk up a bit, and it's true: there's a crafting system coming to the game. There will be five different elements, a forge to smelt metal, an anvil to hammer it into shape, a lathe to shape the wood, and a secret alchemist's chest that will put it all together. If you want resources or want to break something, you can also use the deconstructor.

Quality of life improvements includes a quick slot that will allow players to quickly access a small number of items. There are also some additions being made to the skill tree. Armor and weapons will see some changes, with pole-arms being added as a new weapon type. Titles and new monsters are coming as well, so be on the lookout for that.
