Dontnod's upcoming RPG Vampyr finally has a release window, and a new E3 trailer accompanying it.

The trailer, containing the rock song "Devil" by IDA MARIA shows off bits and pieces of the game in a dramatic, CG sequence, made to look like an uncut look through the streets and alleys of Victorian London. The trailer also shows the first official glimpse of the Ascalon Club, a group of rich vampires in London who are likely adversaries to the main protagonist, Doctor turned Vampire Jonathan Reid.

According to a press release, Vampyr will release in November of this year for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Pre-orders for the game have also been opened, offering a DLC bonus known as the "hunters heirlooms," containing two weapons and a costume unlock for players.

Vampyr will have the player make tough moral choices as Dr. Reid tries to survive the deadly streets of a plague-infested London. Obstacles include vampire hunters, undead Skals, and other monsters, and Reid must choose which civilians to feed on in order to grow his vampiric abilities.  The entire game will be in a semi-open world to explore as well, with one of the selling points of the game is how interconnected all of the NPCs are in the many districts of London. Dr. Reid's actions have a direct effect on the lives of these citizens, so even killing the wrong person may completely transform an entire city district based on your actions.

Vampyr is Dontnod's third major title after Life is Strange and Remember Me, and has been in development for at least two years at this point when it was first revealed back at E3 2015. The game has slowly gained a following in those subsequent two years, making it one of the sleeper titles to watch for in 2017.
