Little Bat Games, developer of "analyze-'em-up" therapy sim Vampire Therapist, has announced that two major high-profile voice actors have joined its game's cast.
The first is someone you'll know well if you're a Critical Role fan or if you've played Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It's Matt Mercer, who'll be voicing the vampire Reinhard with what sounds like a characteristically campy accent.
Vampire Therapist's second major new voice acting addition is Sarah Grayson, who plays Selene in the recently-released Hades 2. She's also the voice of Open Roads' Aunt August, Gone Home's Sam, and Dragon Age: Inquisition's Commander Jehan.
Given that the press release announcing Mercer and Grayson's involvement in the project doesn't list specific characters for them, it's possible they'll be voicing other roles in Vampire Therapist as well.
They're joined by a cast that also includes Hades' Cyrus Nemati, who gave his voice to Ares in that game, as well as Francesca Meaux, also of Hades fame.
Newcomer Kylie Clark, who Little Bat says was "trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama", rounds off the cast as we know it so far.
More voice actors could be waiting in the wings to swoop down and charm you in Vampire Therapist, so we'll just have to wait and see who else is in store.
If you're not familiar with Vampire Therapist, it's a visual novel-style game that puts you in the therapist's chair. You'll get to talk to a range of vampiric personalities, each with their own foibles and problems that need to be worked through.
Little Bat describes the game as a "unique tale of mental health, vampires, and German-inspired nightclubs". The studio says a demo for Vampire Therapist is available now, but it wasn't live at time of writing, so make sure to check back later if you want to take a look.
