Stunlock Studios has announced that launching V Rising offline play has been made a priority and that it will launch this new feature "as soon as possible."
V Rising is the latest game from Battlerite developer Stunlock Studios. The game was officially revealed last year and has managed to build a lot of momentum, rapidly approaching 70,000 peak concurrent players according to SteamDB. There has been one notable omission, though -- there's no offline play in the launch version of the game. Stunlock Studios aims to fix that a lot sooner than you might think.
When is V Rising Offline Play Coming?
It looks like V Rising offline play will be arriving within "the next couple of days" according to an announcement on the game's official Discord. That means that offline play might arrive by or before the end of this week.
Here's what the devs had to say on the subject (via PCGamesN):
Many players have been asking about the status of offline play, and the ability to play on a private server with absolutely no connection to the internet. Right now, the game doesn't allow for this, but it's fully our intention that it does.
We've prioritized making this available as soon as possible.
For those of you who can't play now because of this due to inconsistent internet connections or something along those lines, we apologize for the inconvenience this will cause. It's our estimation that offline play should be available some time in the next couple of days, but may be earlier.
Thank you all for your interest in V Rising, and we look forward to even more of you joining with us in the hunt for blood!
If everything goes to plan, you'll be able to enjoy V Rising offline play before the end of this week.
