Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades is coming out with a special Team Fortress 2-themed update called Meat Fortress that adds a bunch of classic weapons from Valve's team-based first-person shooter.

All of the classic weapons from Team Fortress 2 are going to be included in this update for Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades. While it would have been totally cool for the developer to include some additional weapons, Team Fortress 2 has about eight thousand of them now and that would be a little impractical for an indie company.

In addition to the classic Team Fortress 2 weapons, a bunch of TF2-themed hot dogs will be making their way into the game to populate the BLU and RED teams, respectively. These A.I. bots should provide plenty of fun for the discerning VR shooter fan to blow to pieces with your high-powered mercenary weaponry.

Not only have these guns been "lovingly remastered" for VR, you're spared from silly little thing like class balance restrictions. Want to carry a rocket launcher in one hand and a grenade launcher in the other hand? Nothing stops you from doing something like that in Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades, and you'll be able to do the exact same thing in Meat Fortress.

We're sure to hear more details about Meat Fortress before it arrives as a free update on June 28, 2019. You can watch the Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades Meat Fortress trailer below to see what some of these new guns look like.

What do you think of the Meat Fortress update coming to Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades? Are you looking forward to using Team Fortress 2 weapons in this virtual reality first-person shooter?
