I'll Be Damned
During the UploadVR E3 2019 conference this Monday, we saw a short gameplay trailer for Arizona Sunshine - The Damned DLC, a new expansion for Vertigo Games' and Jaywalkers Interactive's action VR title. The DLC precedes the events of Arizona Sunshine and Dead Man DLC, in an all-new zombie shooting chapter that sends you and your team of US Special Forces on a daunting mission. You must reactivate the generators of a massive Arizonan hydroelectric dam to restore power to the military’s nuclear missile systems.
This is unlikely to be an easy task, give that the dam is overrun by hordes of zombies. As your team sets out, horrible events will unfold, and you will find yourself without warning completely on your own to complete your objective. You will have to find your own way up, through the massive structure of the dam in an effort to stop the spread of the apocalypse, carrying only your commander's voice over the radio to keep you company.
The developers have also announced that the base game Arizona Sunshine releases for Oculus Quest in 2019. Arizona Sunshine is a full-feature VR game that places you in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, as you embark on a journey in search of human contact across post-apocalyptic southwestern America. You can join forces with a friend in co-op multiplayer or jump into the endless multiplayer Horde mode for up to 4 players. While our review wasn't positive, plenty of others have enjoyed the game so you may find it to be something up your alley.
Arizona Sunshine - The Damned DLC offers a batch of new content, a brand new chapter in the Arizona Sunshine story, a new protagonist, more VR survival skills to put to the test, a large brand-new environment with a unique feeling of scale and depth and a lot of co-op madness to be had with your friends.
Arizona Sunshine will release on Oculus Quest in 2019, while The Damned DLC is coming this Summer.
