The Microsoft Gamescom conference was able to show off more gameplay of Square's Rise of the Tomb Raider.

In particular, Crystal Dynamics Brian Horton touted the games emphasis on "player choice" throughout the game. Crafting and customization of Lara's skills has been revamped allowing players to customize their gameplay experience by either going through areas in stealth, or guns blazing.

The presentation included a video showing of a bit of the stealth-action, with Horton noting that guerrilla tactics are essential to the gameplay experience, providing players with the option to improvise their plans of attack when in combat. Players can also just sneak by some enemy encampments if they choose, again allowing a customization of the players experience.

Horton also emphasized that tomb raiding is still an integral part of Tomb Raider, showing Lara jumping, climbing, swimming, dodging and falling throughout a short video showcasing the dangers the environment around her can hold. The valley world is also three times larger than the last Tomb Raider game, so there is a lot of ground to explore in this game for players as well.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an exclusive for the Xbox One for about a year, and will be released on the system November 13th.
