Upcoming Games April 2016

April isn't just a time for bad pranks and even worse tax returns, it's also a pretty good month for games. This month we've got a time traveling hybrid TV show, a game based on a movie based on a game, everyone's favorite spooky medieval dying simulator, and the triumphant return of the master of barrel rolls.

Dark Souls 3

The eagerly awaited third chapter in the Souls saga brings you back to the darkness and gives you the chance to die ... a lot. Dark Souls 3 comes out on Ps4/XboxOne/PC on April 12th.

Enter the Gungeon

Enter the Gungeon is a fast-paced, dungeon crawling loot shooter coming to the PS4 on April 5th.

The "spirital successor" to Dead Nation is here with Alienation.  The game features 3 classes, drop in/drop out online multiplayer, RPG elements, and probably some of the most colorful explosions I've seen since Resogun.  Alienation comes to PS4 on April 26th.

Ratchet & Clank

Developed alongside the CG-animated movie coming to theaters, Ratchet & Clank are back and bigger than ever. Whether you're a fan from the PS2 era games or just want to play a game based on a movie based on a game, Ratchet & Clank will be available on April 12th.

Starfox Zero

Star Fox Zero is the 6th installment of the 3D scrolling shooter franchise co-developed by Nintendo and PlatinumGames. As legendary space pilot Fox McCloud, blast through an onslaught of enemy forces to bring peace to the galaxy. Starfox Zero comes exclusively to the WiiU on April 22nd.

Starfox Guard

Starfox Guard is a tower defense game packed in with Starfox Zero.  In Starfox Guard you play as Slippy Toad and activate one of 12 mounted laser guns by watching video feeds.  It's kinda like Night Trap but actually fun. Starfox Guard comes exclusively to the WiiU on April 22nd.

Quantum Break

Jack Joyce fights for survival in a world where time is broken. With his family in danger and the world at the brink of collapse, Jack must battle the evil Monarch Solutions using the only weapon he has: time itself. Quantum Break is a third person action shooter that flawlessly transitions from videogame to screenplay. Your actions and decisions will affect how the show plays out in real time.Quantum Break releases exclusively to the XboxOne and Windows 10 on April 5th.
