The next Forza Horizon 5 update is in the works and Playground Games has provided a development update on its progress towards changes and new features, detailing what players can expect to see in the coming months.

Forza Horizon 5 has tons of great content including a bunch of different race types and special features like Bonus Boards. The devs launched the Series 2 Update back in early December 2021 -- and now, Playground Games is updating players on what they can look forward to throughout 2022.

What to Expect in the Next Forza Horizon 5 Update - and Beyond

It's not yet clear what will be coming in the next Forza Horizon 5 update, but Playground Games has explained the changes and new features it's working on right now.

Let's start with the fixes: Playground Games is aware that players have been having problems with Accolades, incorrect values for earned Series Points, and issues with various racing wheel setups. It also intends to tackle a problem with "erroneous" lap times and high scores on the leaderboards.

The Festival Playlist is another area of concern that's being addressed. Some players are having issues being able to complete challenges and objectives, and today's Steam Community announcement implies that some changes are coming on this front. Furthermore, Playground Games is looking into a way to retroactively award points for bugged Daily Challenges and Treasure Hunt Events from Series 1 and Series 2.

This isn't all that being worked on, mind; Playground Games notes that there are "many more issues" that are being worked on behind the scenes. Unfortunately, we don't yet know which of these problems will be tackled in the next Forza Horizon 5 update or when that update will launch. For now, there's still a ton of great content to enjoy in this new racing game -- you can buy Forza Horizon 5 for PC and consoles via its official website starting at $59.99 or your regional equivalent.

What do you think of the development update on Forza Horizon 5? Which issue do you think needs to be given the highest priority? Let us know in the comments below!
