Untitled Goose Game's physical packaging and collectibles.

The relaxing animal mischief simulator Untitled Goose Game has been out for a while now, but iam8bit is helping release a physical copy and collectibles for the honking popular game. In addition, they're also creating a special physical edition for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch that makes use of recycled materials for the disk, packaging, and collectibles.

In a presentation as part of the Day of the Devs Summer Games Fest, John from iam8bit announced that Untitled Goose Game is getting a physical edition through the online retailer Skybound Games. The physical edition also comes with goodies including a 24-page Spring/Summer edition of the Plaza Catalog which features things a goose might want to steal, a map of the town illustrated by artist and game developer Marigold Bartlett, and a 'No Goose' sticker. As well as the physical edition, John told viewers about a slightly different version of the physical editon, releasing the same day as the regular one.

The 'Lovely' edition of the game and its collectibles uses 100% recyclable materials from sustainable sources, such as making the 'No Goose' sticker out of a non-toxic sugar-based material. This sustainability also applies to the upcoming vinyl soundtrack for Untitled Goose Game, which uses reclaimed vinyl that's been remelted into brand new vinyl records. Josh is very hopeful that doing this will help start a trend for more sustainable packaging for other video game products.

The Lovely and Standard editons of Untitled Goose Game for Nintnedo Switch and PlayStation 4 are available for pre-order now, and will both release September 29. The vinyl soundtrack will also release the same day.
