Eden Rising: Supremacy, a new co-op survival game from the creators of ROKH and Rollercoaster Tycoon World, will enter the Steam Early Access program May 17th.
The news was confirmed via a press release given by developers Nvizzio and Meridian4, who are working together on creating the game. The two studios describe Eden Rising: Supremacy as a "multiplayer open world-tower defense hybrid" which tasks players with "mastering a vibrant alien world". The game was originally announced back in March, alongside a reveal trailer which detailed some of the game's features, including its combat and overall aesthetic. Take a look at the reveal trailer here:
In the press release, as well as announcing the Early Access release window for Eden Rising: Supremacy, Nvizzio, and Meridian4 also detailed some of the features which will be available in the game at launch. These include a 4 square mile world for players to explore, with 4 distinct biomes which "will only increase in size and scope during early access development". Eden Rising: Supremacy will ship on Early Access with over 30 hours of content already in place, including end-game challenges for players to team up and try together. In addition, when the game launches on Early Access, it will support up to 8 players in a single persistent world, with a planned expansion to 16 players at full launch.
