Ubisoft has partnered with Rob McElhenney (and several other fine folks from the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia crew) to create a gaming television show. It's not going to be a chat show or something like that, mind; instead, it's going to be set at a fictional game studio that has made an MMORPG called Mythic Quest. This will be the basis of the show Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet.

We then got to see a trailer for the show right before Mythic Quest was about to launch the game's first expansion Raven's Banquet. A cheesy video played out before it was revealed that the cast of the show was watching an egocentric commercial centered on Rob McElhenney's character which culminates in a ridiculous (and worryingly-long) shirtless scene. (Hey, if you look as good as Mr. McElhenney, I can't exactly blame him for writing that one into the show.)

Speaking of characters, here is the cast of Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet as noted on Wikipedia:

  • Rob McElhenney as Ian Grimm
  • F. Murray Abraham as C.W. Longbottom
  • Imani Hakim as Dana
  • David Hornsby as David
  • Danny Pudi as Brad
  • Ashly Burch as Rachel
  • Charlotte Nicdao as Poppy
  • Jessie Ennis as Jo
The show was created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz — all veterans of the cult classic television show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet will be coming to Apple TV Plus. You can watch the first look at this brand-new show below.
