Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be releasing on October 4th and there will be a beta for the game available on the 5th of September. While the Beta was announced what it will contain was not mentioned. It's expected that closer to the date Ubisoft will reveal more about what it will cover.
You can register now for a chance to participate. This game will be live for years to come. Ubisoft plans to continue supporting their game through expansions and by working with the community to decide what should be made.
Learning from the community and creating additional content for Breakpoint is a key part of what Ubisoft plans to do going forward. As an example of what might be one of the first additional pieces of content to come to the game we saw teased was red eyes in the dark set to the theme of The Terminator. There was no further information revealed about what it means for a Terminator to be showing up in the world of Rainbow Six.
Beyond this, the team at Ubisoft shared various new details about the game along with a pair of cinematic trailers that we covered more in-depth over here. Getting a lot of the coverage, once again, was the primary antagonists of the game, the Wolves. Former Ghosts gone rogue, the Wolves have taken over the location of the game and are using advanced technology to stymie their foes and launch their plans worldwide.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be releasing for the Xbox One family of devices, PlayStation 4 devices, Windows PC, and will even launch for Google Stadia. For those subscribing to Ubisoft's new UPlay+ service they will also get access to this game on day one.
