Ubisoft has announced a new expansion to their self described MMOCARPG The Crew. It's called Wild Run. No, I don't know what that acronym stands for. It adds motorcycles and monster trucks to the drivable vehicles and layers them on top of the nationwide map from the original game.
“The Summit,” is a huge gathering of drivers and racing enthusiasts who face off in a series of extreme events at iconic US locations. Players can choose dragsters, drift cars, unstoppable monster trucks, or a wide range of agile motorcycles.
From qualifiers to finales, players can earn exclusive rewards and rare bonuses based on their performance. There will also be a graphics update, enhanced by new lighting and redesigned areas adapted for all vehicle types.
It embraces arcade style gameplay, and dives into car culture more than the original game. Players from the original game will still be able to play with players that have the DLC, although they obviously will not be able to take part in the new missions.
In addition to the new features, a graphical update will be coming with the DLC, enhancing the exsiting environments with new lighting effects and areas redesigned to account for the new vehicles included in the package.
The Crew: Wild Run available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 17th 2015.
