Good news if you're a fan of vegetable-based vagabonds: there's a free Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion update on the way. It's adding a brand new endless roguelite dungeon, as well as new enemies, a new boss, and plenty more to sink your teeth into.
What's in the new Turnip Boy update?
The big new addition in this Turnip Boy update is the Limitless Line, a roguelite dungeon set on a moving train. You'll battle familiar enemies and new ones for a chance to earn rewards. Along the way, you'll earn prizes for doing well on the Limitless Line. These include temporary trinkets that power you up while you're on a run, giving you the chance to devastate your foes even more efficiently (and presumably stop them from asking awkward questions about your tax evasion). You can check out a brief trailer for the Sunset Station update here.
The new Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion update will also offer the chance to take on three brand new enemy types, as well as revamped existing foes. You can also look forward to an entirely new boss encounter. There are 15 new hats up for grabs so you can make Turnip Boy look even more dapper, and if you grab the Steam version, the Limitless Line dungeon comes complete with a daily challenge you can take on for the chance to earn prestige. Who hasn't wanted to be the most infamous turnip whoever committed tax evasion?
When does the Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion update release?
You'll be able to check out the Limitless Line in Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion starting from August 26th. The new dungeon will be available across both Nintendo Switch and Steam, but if you have the Switch version, you won't be able to take advantage of the daily challenge. Everything else, however, is consistent across both versions. If you haven't checked out Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion yet, you can grab it on Steam or the Nintendo eShop right now.
