Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga is coming, which is the game's biggest update yet. It also adds console support for non-PlayStation consoles, which means that Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S players can join in the fun on August 16, 2022. The new update adds in a new Sega Quest, Saga Boss, Volcanic Spire Biome, Spear weapon, Fishing, and more. There's a lot more to go over, so let's get into it, shall we?

What's included in Tribes of Midgard Season 3: Inferno Saga?

Tribes of Midgard has been doing pretty well for itself since the start. It sold 500k copies in its first week and hasn't looked back since, offering people a surprisingly accurate take on Viking myths and legends. This has led to three seasons, with Tribes of Midgard Season 3 adding the Inferno Saga, a brand new Saga Quest that will have players traveling across the land seeking out and destroying a new threat to the land.

There's also Survival Mode 2.0, a completely rebuilt version of Survival Mode, and a more relaxed version of the game. Players won't have to deal with Giant and Helthing attacks or a central village, which should make things a lot easier. There's also Crafting 2.0, which will have players crafting and forging a variety of weapons depending on the Station type that they're using. A brand new Blessing Tree layout will also shake things up, with close to 100 Blessings contained within a specific Class. The level cap has also increased from 10 to 50, which should give players more to do as they master the remade Survival Mode.

Basically, if you have a hankering for some Viking warfare, this might hold you over until God of War Ragnarok releases this November. They might not be too similar, but hey, they've both got Vikings, eh?
