Wired Productions and Rogue Sun have announced that Tin Hearts has been pushed back on most platforms. The game will now launch on May 16th for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, but if you're a Nintendo Switch player, you're in luck, as Tin Hearts is still on track to release on April 20th for Nintendo's machine.

This Tin Hearts delay was revealed through the description for a new gameplay trailer, as well as via the game's official Twitter account. In the announcement tweet, Rogue Sun says Tin Hearts is now "launching EXCLUSIVELY for Nintendo Switch on April 20th". No mention of a delay is technically made, but prior to this tweet and the new gameplay trailer, Tin Hearts' release date was the same across all platforms.

Luckily, the new gameplay trailer is characteristically adorable, which should help to alleviate some of the disappointment over this delay. In the trailer, Rogue Sun's Reece Cobb shows off some of Tin Hearts' cozy-looking puzzle adventure gameplay, which kind of looks like Toy Story crossed with Lemmings. You can check out the new trailer here.

Cobb describes Tin Hearts as a "whimsical, beautiful, and colorful world" to explore. It'll offer more than 40 levels, so if you do enjoy the core gameplay, there'll be lots of opportunities to refine and hone your skills. All of this will be wrapped up in what Rogue Sun calls a "powerful tale of love and compromise" in which you'll gradually unravel the story of Albert Butterworth, a Victorian inventor.

Tin Hearts will be released for Nintendo Switch on April 20th. PC, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox platforms will follow on May 16th. Following this, a release for PC VR headsets, as well as Meta Quest 2 and PlayStation VR2, is also on the cards, although Rogue Sun and Wired are remaining tight-lipped as to when that might happen. Stay tuned for more on this.
