Server merging usually isn't a great sign for a game's success, and it isn't a mystery for anyone that Tower of Fantasy has failed to carve itself a player base as numerous as some of its rivals in the free-to-play scene. We'll have to wait and see whether the recently-announced PS5 and PS4 release will manage to revert the MMORPG's fortunes when it happens this Summer.
Tower of Fantasy is free-to-play with optional microtransactions and currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, including a recently-released Steam version.
Its developers have been rather consistent in updating it with new content since its release, and since release, we saw the addition of many simulacra like Annabella, Alyss, Alyss, Umi, Fenrir, Lan, Icarus, Fiona, Gnonno, and Rubilia to the growing roster, on top of a teaser of version 3.0.
If you're interested in the game, it's a sci-fi MMORPG set on the far-away planet Aida, devastated by a cataclysm that destroyed most of the colony established by mankind centuries before. The players have to survive in this hostile environment among the ruins of civilization against increasingly aggressive and mutated monsters, while exploring a mysterious story full of intrigue and adventure.
