Sega Europe announced today that the first part of a trilogy based on the Game's Workshop tabletop game Warhammer will see the light of day on the 28th of April, 2016 with Total War: Warhammer. The game, developed by Creative Assembly, will have players do battle in the beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting. Players who decide to pre-order will receive access the Chaos Warriors Race Pack which include three new playable hero characters called Legendary Lords and enables players to play the powerful Chaos Warriors in the game's grand campaign. There's also a new quest chain for each of the three Legendary Lords, exclusive to people who pre-order the game. In addition to this, players will have access to an armory with Chaos-flavored magic items.

Players are also able to order a special collector's edition known as the High King Edition, modeled after the Book Of Grudges. The box will include the Chaos Warriors race, a dwarven drink horn and a physical metal ring and an insider guide, amongst other shiny pieces of goodies. Players who might not want to shell $100 for the High King edition will be able to get a limited edition. The limited edition comes in the exact same case as the High King Edition as well as the insider guide for Total War: Warhammer.
