Following the recent reveal of Total War: Warhammer III's DLC "Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs.", Creative Assembly released an extensive gameplay video.
The video shows the beginning of a campaign played from the point of view of one of the legendary lords coming with the game Drazhoath the Ashen. Like with the previous video featuring Astragoth Ironhand, we get a deep dive in how the faction plays and fights on the campaign map and on the battlefield.
You can check out the video below.
If you're new-ish to the Warhammer world and you're unfamiliar with the Chaos Dwarfs, they're a race that has received very little support from Games Workshop and appeared in very limited fashion following Warhammer's 5th Edition, albeit they always existed in the lore. They're an evil faction worshipping the chaos god of fire Hashut, the Bull God, Father of Darkness.
Despite being basically ignored by their creators for a long time, they have a very rich and interesting lore and a very distinctive Babylonian/Mesopotamian inspiration for their looks.
Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is the first paid DLC coming for Total War: Warhammer 3, and will release on April 13, with pre-orders already open for $22.49 (this is an early bird discount, and on April, 20, the price will go back up to $24.99).
Total War: Warhammer 3 is currently available exclusively for PC. If you'd like to know more, you can take a look at our review.
