Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint Collector's Edition Leaked

Last week we reported on a tease of a possible Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands announcement from Ubisoft, complete with an elaborate ARG campaign. Ubisoft set up a website for the fictional Skell Technology within the game's universe, and suggested a possible announcement for May 9 11:30AM PST, during "Skellcon," which is also a fictional convention. Today, a leak from the Ubisoft Store suggests that the Canadian company is going to unveil a new game in the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon universe, called Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. You can see the leaked picture of the game's Collector's Edition as a Ubisoft Store exclusive, including the game's box and a figurine of a man clad in military gear, wielding and machine gun and a revolver.

We also have an independent source that confirms the new game, which will be an online tactical shooter like Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. A possible release date for this title is October 4th, and it seems to be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Some other details are being leaked online, some of which you might need to take with a grain of salt, such as the description of a four-player co-op (like Wildlands) experience against Cole D. Walker, which recently appeared in the free update "Operation Oracle" for Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Other leaked details include the specifics on the Collector's Edition, which includes a 24cm figurine of Cole, a map, artwork, a Year 1 Pass,  and the Ultimate Pack (which includes missions, vehicles, cosmetics, and early class unlockers). The Collector's Edition will also allow players to jump into the game three days before the official release date.

What do you think of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint? Are you hoping for a direct sequel to Wildlands, or do you expect more of a standalone experience? Let us know in the comments below!
