Prepare for even more Fire Emblem--with an extra shot of Shin Megami Tensei--on the Switch, as today's Nintendo Direct announced that Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will be coming to the console in an improved port of the 2015 Wii U game.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, a crossover between Nintendo's Fire Emblem and Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei, is an RPG that was first released in Japan as Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.

How do you combine Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei? Tokyo Mirage Sessions explored this scenario by following a group of teenagers in modern-day Tokyo who partner with Mirages based on Fire Emblem characters. Together they have to stop a more malicious band of Mirages determined to harvest humans for an energy known as Performa. Using the Fortuna Entertainment talent agency as a cover, the teens and the Fire Emblem-inspired Mirages fuse to become the Mirage Masters, and they keep humans from being harvested while investigating the mastermind behind this crisis.

The game was generally well received, and was often recognized by multiple outlets as one of the best titles on the Wii U. In fact, it became RPGamer's Wii U RPG of the year and Destructoid's best Wii U game of 2016. GameSpot, USGamer, GamesRadar, Polygon, and Kotaku all ranked it as one of the best Wii U games. Polygon went even further and listed Tokyo Mirage Sessions as one of the Wii U games that should get a Switch port, with Business Insider agreeing.

Polygon and Business Insider will now get their wish, and more. The Switch version will include an extra song and new story elements.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will launch next year on Jan. 17.
