For those of you that have been waiting to get your beat 'em up on in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, your wait might be a little more painful with the newly-announced addition of Master Splinter to the playable roster. For those who aren't in the know, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge comes from Dotemu, who are responsible for Streets of Rage 4, which we thought was amazing and continues to receive content, a promising sign for TMNT fans.
As with most beat 'em ups, players will be able to choose their favorite fighter-which can range from the turtles, April, or Master Splinter-and use combos to defeat Shredder and his Foot Clan. You can either do it alone or with up to four players simultaneously in online or split screen co-op while mowing down on some delicious pizza.
Players will be able to check out fan-favorite locations such as Dimension X, Coney Island, and city rooftops and dank sewers. You'll also be able to meet rivals like Bebop and Rocksteady in pixel art inspired by the 1987 TV show, which is just radical, bro.
